The next Doors Open Haunted Huron is planned for autumn 2010; we hope to see you there.
Doors Open Haunted Huron is billed as a ‘weekend of heritage and horror in Huron County’. We are celebrating the unique history and heritage found only in our community and we’re going to have a little fun and a few frights while we do. Ghost stories told and retold over generations become part of a community’s mythology and folklore.
These are stories of spirits from a different time coming back to interact with the present day inhabitants. What better metaphor for our event, bringing the spirits of our past to an audience of the present.
